REMOLQUES UNIDOS, cantabrian capital company founded in 1,962 with the activity of harbour towing services at the port of Santander, high sea towing, escort and salvage, fire-fighting, antipollution, as well as other complementary activities of mooring of ships, auxiliary boats, pontoons etc., being the owners of all the fleet that we operate.

RUSA SANTANDER, S.L., company founded in 2,001 and actually titular with REYSER SANTANDER, S.L. of harbour towing services at the port of Santander.

REMOLCADORES DE MALAGA, S.A., company founded in 1,962 same year as the head of the group, and property of this one since 2.001, dedicated to the same activity of towage and situated and operating in the Port of Malaga, in which MARITIMA ESPIMUÑOZ, S.A has been integrated by fusion by absorption in 2.006.

COMPAÑIA ADMINISTRADORA DE REMOLCADORES, S.A, holder of the concession of the harbour towing services at the port of Malaga, where it is situated (it is a company participated by REMOLCADORES DE MALAGA, S.A.).

FLEET:

REMOLQUES UNIDOS has operated her own tugboats during all these years of existence. The fleet consists of more than twenty-five tugboats, in addition to other auxiliary boats.

Actually we have a new fleet, modern, with great performance, power, Bollard Pull, manoeuvrability, fire-fighting systems, Rec-Oil, etc. that with the next new deliveries we will have new units azimuthal SCHOTTEL stern-drive higher than 70 tns. of B.P., and one smaller of approx. 15 tns. of B. P., as well as other conventional tugboats of different powers, equipped with bow thrusters, flap rudders, etc.

One of our operated tugboats named CINHCO was the first azimuthal tugboat builded and working in Spanish ports, specifically in Santander.

QUALITY AND ENVIRONMENT:

Since 1.999 we have implanted a quality management system, it was adapted to the new norm ISO 9.001:2.000 in 2,003 and we have integrated in 2.006 the norm ISO 14.001 of environment and it includes all the companies and all the activities that we do in the ports of Santander and Malaga, and others.
