Tugboat VEHINTIDOS at the special army day celebrated in Santander.

The new tugboat "VEHINTIDOS" arrived from Gijon. This is the seventh unit builded with this prototype and with a certificated Bollard Pull of 75,2 tons.
The "VEHINTIDOS" is the third unit of our company clasificated as REC-OIL.

The new tugboat VEHINTITRES in his first work with the tugboat TRHECE in the arrival to the Port of Requejada (Cantabria) to load the pieces for the bridge in construction in the Port of Santander.

Is already working in Port of Santander the new tugboat "VEHINTIUNO". Is the second unit with REC-OIL classification and the sixth builded with the same prototipe and all of them with a bollard pull superior than 70 tons.

And in aprox. 4 months will be operative the tugboat VEHINTIDOS that will have the same equipments and characteristics.
In february and may we have towed two news buildings, the hull 509 and 510, with our tugboats DIHECISEIS and DIHECISIETE respectively, from shipyard Navantia in Cadiz to shipyard Vulcano in Vigo, they are two twins ships without superstructure, with 176 meters of lenght and 19.994 G.T.

The new tugboat called "VEHINTE" arrived at the port of Santander after finishing all tests sucesfully in wich it get registered 75,3 tons of Bollard Pull. This is the fifth unit built like the prototype the tugboat "DIHECISEIS" but in this case "VEHINTE" is the first having REC-OIL class .

At the same time two new units have been signed with Astilleros Armón to be delivered at the end of 2.009 and at the beggining of 2.010, both will have 6.300 H.P, with them we expect to reach 80 tons of Bollard Pull and these units will be called "VEHINTICUATRO" and "VEHINTICINCO" following the already announced "VEHINITUNO" and "VEHINTIDOS" actually in construction and with delivery date in the next months of 2.008
We have also a tugboat in construction that will be delivered in the middle of 2-008, this tugboat is similar to the "TRHECE" although with more power and bollar pull with identical performances and class, this one will be called "VEHINTITRES".
Since 1st of July 2.007, and after fusion realised by REMOLQUES UNIDOS, S.A. has been disolved after merger by absorption and CONSIGNACIONES AGENCIAS Y TRANSITOS, S.A. made by INVERSIONES MARITIMAS MUELLE 36, S.L that at the same time changed his name by REMOLQUES UNIDOS, S.L. that convert himself in the new head from the Group continuating to the more of 40 years of the former RUSA.
We have proceeded to registred our brand with the anagram "RUSA", for to stay as the symbol and logo from our Group.

In the high tide of the dawn of Sunday day 18 of March (03: 00 hours) and after two attempts in previous tides, our tugboat “TRHES” was able to refloat the ship EXPLORER, that had run aground in afternoon of Friday day 16 to its departure of the port of Requejada where it had loaded 1,600 tons of sodium carbonate.
We have received from Armon Shipyard our new tugboat called "DIHECINUEVE", same as "DIHECIOCHO", which is now operating in the Port of Santander and it's the forth from our last seven ordered tugboats .

14001:2004, together with ISO 9001:2000 certification
which we have since 1.999 and has been renovated. Both
are integrated in our Management System which is valid
for all our companies and activities.

We signed with Armon shipyards in Navia, two new buildings the same as VEHINTE, with delivery in the first and the third quarter of 2.008, and they will be called VEHINTIUNO and VEHINTIDOS (Armon 670-671)

After passing with success all the official test,
our new tugboat DIHECIOCHO arrived at the Port of Santander,
the third unit builded with these characteristics and
the same as DIHECISEIS and DIHECISIETE actually operating
at the port of Malaga, with 5.000 H.P. and 70,5 Tons
of Bollard Pull.
